- 4For an EV or hybrid, deliver it at 40 to 60 percent charge. A full pack sits under load, an empty one risks arriving unable to move under its own power.
- 5Clear the cabin and trunk. Personal effects are not covered, and the load sheet will list the car only.
- 6Note any active service item or warning light so a dead battery on arrival is not mistaken for transit damage.

Standard carrier cargo coverage usually clears the replacement value of a prestige daily driver, which is why this tier rarely needs a rider. Still ask for the certificate and confirm the per-vehicle limit covers your car including options. Leased and financed vehicles are the exception worth checking: some lease agreements require you to notify the lessor before interstate transport.
