Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://citadelautotransport.com and the quote-request forms hosted on it (collectively, the "Site"), which are operated by Citadel Auto Transport ("Citadel," "we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

What Citadel is and isn't

Citadel is a marketing service that connects vehicle owners with FMCSA-licensed transportation brokers in our partner network. Citadel itself does not arrange transportation, dispatch carriers, hold motor carrier authority, or maintain cargo insurance. Every shipment booked through a broker introduced via the Site is fulfilled under that broker's authority and insurance, governed by the broker's own terms and conditions.

When you submit a quote request, you authorize Citadel to share the information you provide with one or more broker partners so they can prepare and present a transport quote to you. You retain full discretion about whether to engage with any broker and on what terms.

Quotes and pricing

Pricing displayed on the Site (calculators, "typical cost" bands, route-specific estimates) is illustrative and based on market averages for the lane, vehicle class, and service tier shown. Actual quotes depend on real-time market conditions, equipment availability, pickup window flexibility, vehicle condition, and other factors. Quotes are issued by broker partners, not Citadel, and become binding only when you and the broker sign a transport agreement.

Information you provide

You agree that information you submit in a quote request (or any other form on the Site) is accurate and complete, and that you have the right to provide it. Misrepresenting vehicle value, modifications, condition, or operability may void coverage under the assigned broker's cargo insurance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit false or fraudulent quote requests; use the Site to harvest information about brokers or other users; scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the Site; introduce malware, automated agents, or attempt to access non-public areas; or use the Site for any purpose unlawful in your jurisdiction.

Intellectual property

The Site, including all text, graphics, logos, page templates, route data, and software, is owned by Citadel or its licensors and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except that you may share individual pages via standard browser functions and social media.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and the information on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Quotes, estimates, and lane characteristics are informational; actual transport service is provided by the broker you select, under that broker's terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citadel and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any quote, shipment, or broker introduction obtained through the Site. Citadel's aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Citadel harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your disputes with any broker or carrier introduced to you via the Site.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

SMS / text messaging

Program description. This SMS program is used to communicate with you about an enclosed transport request you submitted through this site: quotes, booking confirmations, pickup scheduling, delivery updates, customer support, and occasional marketing or promotional messages.

Who sends the messages. Text messages about your shipment are sent by Pigeon Auto Transport, the FMCSA-licensed enclosed carrier desk that handles enclosed requests submitted through this site, from (248) 469-4273. Citadel Auto Transport may separately send you text messages about the request you submitted here. Every message identifies the company sending it. No other broker or partner sends text messages under this program.

Opt-in and consent sharing. You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our quote or contact form. Submitting a form without checking that box does not opt you in, and consent is never a condition of requesting a quote, of purchase, or of any other service. By checking that box you consent to receive text messages from both Citadel Auto Transport and Pigeon Auto Transport, and you agree that Citadel may pass your consent to Pigeon Auto Transport so they can text you about your shipment. If you give consent by phone, we record that consent on the call.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on shipment activity and communication needs.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time opt-out confirmation. Citadel and Pigeon Auto Transport text you from different numbers, so replying STOP stops the sender you replied to. To stop messages from both, reply STOP to a message from each, or contact us at [email protected] and we will opt you out of the whole program.

Assistance. Reply HELP for support, or contact us at (866) 450-6683 or [email protected].

Privacy. We respect your privacy. We do not sell or distribute phone numbers to third-party marketers. We will not share your opt-in to this SMS program with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you the services of this program. Your consent is shared with Pigeon Auto Transport for the sole purpose of handling the shipment you requested, because they are the desk that provides that service. We may also share your SMS opt-in or consent status with vendors that help deliver the messages themselves, such as our messaging platform and phone carriers. Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "effective" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
